- Tap a row to inspect what we're pulling from X for that nation — the query, post volume + sparkline, peak/now rate, live-match head-to-head, and its trending topics.

Globe
An interactive globe of Earth with every qualified nation marked, and the live buzz rippling across its surface.

Matchday
A timeline of the tournament, one day at a time, with live scores.

Live group tables, computed directly from match results — never hand-entered.

The pulses you see are the live buzz
The buzz layer isn't a separate gimmick — the globe and the board are two views of one signal, wired both ways.
The wave-field pulse, the spotlight's "Buzz rank · score," and the cycling "Buzzing now" chip all surface the same live signal. Tap to open the board.
Click a leaderboard row and the Globe opens focused on that nation; the camera settles on it and its row scrolls back into view.
When a nation surges while you're on the Globe, a small ▲ "…is surging" toast slides in up top — so a spike reads across both views. Rate-limited, never spammy.
Reduced motion: if your system requests it, the chip stops cycling, the surge toast is suppressed, and scrolling jumps instead of animating. The data stays just as live.
Match data
Scores, schedule, standings, and bracket refresh from a backend pipeline. As results land, Matchday updates and Standings & Bracket re-derive from those scores. Confirmed finals are never overwritten.
Buzz feed
Polled every ~4 seconds. It is driven only by real activity from the X (Twitter) API — per-nation post volume mapped onto each country's score and spikes — while a match is live. There is no simulated source: when nothing is in play the board simply stays quiet and fills back in at the next kickoff.
